Ethan's Dress

The dress was a birthday present from Tasha, Stefan, and Ethan -- Zara's shorthand is "Ethan's Dress". I don't think she gets that Ethan doesn't wear dresses.

Dinner for All

From left to right, Bell's Oberon (now available in VA, served in an Ashley's glass), nu-nu, blackened broccoli, french lentil salad, and israeli couscous with red peppers and dubliner cheese. Lovely wife and darling daughter not included.

I've been half considering posting recipes along with the pictures and witty comments. In fact, the name of the site was originally a play on the phrase "No Jacket Required", meant for a restaurant that served sort of hippy food but welcoming non-hippy guests.

B... B... B.. Baby Stroller!

Here's Z and her buddy, Baby C. We're trying to drop the "Baby" from C's name, since she's actually a few weeks older than Z, but old habits die hard. We hear that the Baby prefix is so popular even the librarians have adopted it at story time! No matter, we'll get it figured out eventually. In the meantime, here's photographic proof of Z and C's first foray into cooperative play. They actually, with minimal adult intervention, agreed to take turns pushing the stroller and being "the baby."
