First Day of School

Here is Zara in her first day of school at CBI. It was Purim, so she is dressed as an appropriately festive Maple tree (thanks to the MMs) but as is her tendency, she's accessorized a bit. The pink party dress and high-heeled shoes really completely the look, don't they? Apparently she wore the full get up in the school's Purim parade. Here we see Zara taking a break from the action and enjoying some snack.

Birthday Cake

Apparently, Coda's birthday made an impression. Zara's making Coda another birthday cake, this time of playdough. Of course, she also gets to blow the candles out.

Coda's Birthday

According to our arbitrarily assigned birthday, Coda is now 1 year old.  We've been taking him and our other charge for a walk at Janet's house in Crozet Saturday mornings.  Did I mention that Virginia is beautiful?
