St. Patrick's Day: The Dance

Zara and Jillian, dancing a set dance called "St. Patrick's Day." Joe is accompanying them on accordion, but sadly, I managed to cut him almost entirely out of the frame. Bad composition, but good dancing!

James River Brewing Company

The day before St. Patrick's Day, Wes and Zara performed (with BRIMS) at the James River Brewing Company. Fun venue, great proprietors, random dog wandering about through the audience... everything was good but we somehow missed checking out any of the beer. All good though, it's just another reason to go back and visit again!

BRIMS dances with the Celtibillies

Zara and many of her BRIMS dancing friends were invited to perform with The Celtibillies in Richmond on St. Patrick's Day Weekend. Zara's favorite activities include dancing across a gigantic stage for the enjoyment of 350 of her closest friends and eating junk food while snuggling with fellow dancers in the green room.

City Schools Art Show

This is Zara's 4th year in the city schools' art show. She actually had 3 pieces (but I didn't take a picture of 1, you'll have to wait until it's back home with us in June) in the show this year. And unlike last year, neither of these pieces are self-portraits. Which is why we have a picture of the artist with her work...

Sundays in the Park

Despite the occasional snowstorm, the weather's been pretty nice here lately. Amity and her buddy Naomi have been hanging together at the playground (and going scooting) while Wes and I get to go for a child-less run! Thanks goes to Jennie for making this all happen (and for letting me borrow her phone so I could take a few pictures of these 2 cuties in their natural environment).
