Birthday Cake

Apparently, Coda's birthday made an impression. Zara's making Coda another birthday cake, this time of playdough. Of course, she also gets to blow the candles out.

Coda's Birthday

According to our arbitrarily assigned birthday, Coda is now 1 year old.  We've been taking him and our other charge for a walk at Janet's house in Crozet Saturday mornings.  Did I mention that Virginia is beautiful?

Rise & Shine

Jo routinely gets up with Zara in the morning (thank you for letting me sleep!) and entertains her. This no-flash shot shows Zara playing at the kitchen sink, lit by the first light of the day through the window.
