Well, we made an offer on a house on Briarcliff Avenue. The Druid house was, um, interesting. We'll hear tomorrow whether the sellers accept our offer, and then it's off to the races. Update: We accepted the current owners' counter-offer. Our closing date will be 2 August 2006.

The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs and space to finish a "rumpus room" in the basement. There's also a 1 bedroom apartment in the basement, which will no longer be rented by the time we take possession. So, there's enough room to have both Dr Rach and Erin visit at the same time. Which is convenient, since they'll both be living in Chicago by the time we move to C-Ville.
The roof is new, so it's pretty unlikely that we'll replace it with a nice green one. We could paint some of that white trim yellow, but it's not very high on the list.
