King Neptune's Octopus

After nearly 5 years in C'ville, we finally made the comparatively short (3ish hours and a bit) trek to Virginia Beach. There's a pretty large statue of King Neptune around 31st Street right on the boardwalk. Which is made of cement. But never mind, as the statue is so big we couldn't possibly get a really good picture of it up close. So instead, we present to you, the octopus of King Neptune. No, that is not a euphemism.

OMG, Jo - you are starting to look like me...I saw this and said - whoa, I don't have a jacket like that - if you don't look too carefully, you could be me.

Sorry.

love you.

Marms, for one thing, I think I've always looked like you (and acted/gestured like my father). I had people mistake me for you at Sophie's bat mitzvah 7 or 8 years ago! Nothing to be sorry about, seeing as we're related and all :) Unless you mean you think I look like you now, in which case you just aged me 25 years and I guess you could apologize for that :) Also it's a long shot, I'm wearing a hat and squinting. :)
