To celebrate a beautiful (Mother's) day, we went for a hike at Turk Mountain in Shenandoah National Park. Amity walked nearly the whole way (over a mile) up, though she availed herself of parental rides on the steepest parts. She walked some of the way down, but then climbed on my back and snuggled up in the Ergo and promptly fell asleep. This picture was taken at the summit, as we enjoyed a little lunch break. Hiking is tiring!
