Off to CHM

Four humans, one dog and three cars made their way to Bartow, WV today. In what one could argue is a move either 30 years in the making (the last full summer I spent as a counselor) or maybe only 12 (the year we chose CHM for Z), I've finally found a way back to summer camp. And not only do I get to hang with Z and A, I get to bring Zelda and Wesley. Neither Zel nor Wes has ever been a camper or counselor, so this will be an extreme new adventure for them. Well, Zelda's not really going to be working, though the new camp director does not have his own dogs and she will likely be the biggest and most snuggle-able dog in camp. She'll probably get to comfort some sad kiddos at some point.

The first pic is the first of many "us-ies" we'll be taking this summer, and the second is our picnic at the halfway point (Orchard House I think it's called), basically the last stop before the series of 8 twisty mountain passes you need to conquer between c'ville and camp. ¡VĂ¡monos!
